Sherried & Intense. Meaning 'the original' in Gaelic, A'bunadh is made in homage to Aberlour's founder, James Fleming. A'bunadh is a whisky hand-made from start to finish with each batch being created to ensure a rich and complex flavour of moist raisin, and homemade fruit cake. It is bottled at cask strength resulting in a robust and deeply intense, sherried whisky.

Oban is one of Scotland's oldest and smallest distilleries. Founded in 1794, the West Highland port town of the same name has grown around the distillery. Our skilled whisky making team optimise the right mix of European and American sherry seasoned oak casks to allow the delicate and indulgent flavours of American oak to take centre stage while the more traditional Macallan characteristics of rich fruits, sherry and wood spice provide a reassuringly familiar backdrop.

Matured for eighteen long years in American White Oak ex-bourbon barrels and enriched by superior Premier Grand Cru Classé Bordeaux barrels, a unique spirit is created that has truly come of age.

The whisky has a powerful, peat-smoke aroma, and is described as being robustly full-bodied, well balanced, and smooth, with a slight sweetness on the palate. International Spirit ratings competitions have generally given Lagavulin's 16-year spirit extremely high scores.

The Macallan Sherry Oak 12 Years Old forms part of the Sherry Oak range which features a series of single malt whiskies matured exclusively in hand-picked sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez for richness and complexity. A matured character, the 12 Years Old delivers rich wood spice and dried fruits and a natural rich gold colour.

Under the watchful eye of Dalmore's Master Distiller, the spirit is initially matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks. This is the perfect start to the maturation journey as it develops their house style of chocolate, orange and spice. This Dalmore is then fully finished in casks having held a very unique sherry, created especially for The Dalmore - a blend of classic & aged oloroso and rich & sweet Pedro Ximénez, formulated to provide the perfect enhancement to their house style. The result is a stunning and elegant Dalmore single malt, bursting with sweet fruit and decadent spice.

Aged in traditional oak casks and finished in Caribbean rum casks which result in a well-rounded whisky with notes of toffee, fruit and vanilla.

The Dalmore 12, an outstanding Highland Single Malt matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon casks, finished in rare and aged Oloroso Sherry casks. The Aroma: Citrus fruits, chocolate, aromatic spices. The Palate: Seville oranges, dried fruits, and hints of vanilla pods. The Finish: Roasted coffee and dark chocolate.
