For the 10th anniversary of Hop Zombie (2021) Epic decided to brew something that was bigger, and came up with the name 'Zombier', because it is bigger than Hop Zombie. This batch is a re-brew (second time only) of ZombieR because people are always asking when Epic were going to brew it again. Out of the can there is that familiar aroma of the guava and passionfruit. On tasting though they will find there is a noticeable difference compared to Hop Zombie. It seems that the balance of the beer is noticeably greater. This leads to an unfortunately high level of drinkability. There will be people that think having two cans is a good idea because it tastes so good, and so easy to drink. All they will say is beware, and respect the Zombie, it bites. 10% ABV.

Epic have used an 'Epic' amount of hops as you would expect from them. Epic have the biggest, juiciest, stickiest Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe hops they could find. A blend of T90 and Cryo hops to give the maximum desired aromas and flavours. It's like drizzling freshly squeezed passion fruit, mango and pineapple juice across your tongue. 5.3% alc/vol and a super low bitterness and maximum haze, will keep every Hazy-Head happy with being able to sit down and drink a few from the six pack.

Multiball Hazy IPA presents a dense, golden haze that promises an explosion of flavour, much like the exhilarating chaos of a multiball in pinball. With the first sip, you're immersed in a wave of tropical bliss - juicy mango and ripe pineapple take centre stage, enhanced by a zesty citrus burst that dances on your palate. Mosaic hops introduce a hint of complexity with subtle berry notes, while Citra delivers a lively, refreshing citrus punch. Cascade hops elevate the profile further, adding grapefruit and lychee notes for a vibrant exploration of flavours. Just as in pinball, where the excitement builds as multiple balls fly around the playfield, each sip of Multiball brings a thrilling rush, igniting a sense of adventure and achievement as you savour the dynamic interplay of tastes.

A classic label indicates this classic expression of this version of an IPA. It's been a long time since Epic made an IPA using the classic C hops of Chinook, Cascade and Centennial, balanced with a touch of sweet crystal malt, that delivers a slightly richer colour, and a more obvious sweeter, malty note which marries perfectly with the grapefruit and piney notes from the hops. Its like stepping back in time with the way the original IPA's use to be.
