St Hallett has been producing fine wines since it was established in 1944. All of the fruit used in every bottle of St Hallett wine is grown, made and matured in the Barossa with some of the fruit coming from some of the oldest vineyards in the world. Shiraz Grenache Touriga - This wine is a great example of bright fruit and varietal characteristics and shows lots of lush plum and cherry flavours up front.

A superb wine - perfectly blended to create a seamless, deep and complex blend with silky tannins and excellent cellaring potential. A selection of thirteen vineyards sourced from a diverse spread of sub regions ranging from near Williamstown in the far south to Ebenezer in the far north of the Barossa are utilised. Vineyards are concentrated in the far south and north of the Barossa Valley to drive the style required for St Hugo. The diversity of this fruit sourcing is to achieve the 'power' from low yielding, mature Shiraz vines and 'elegant' parcels from vineyards showing more restraint and structure.

Aromas are savoury with dark fruits nuances. Blueberries, figs and raspberry compote are complemented by toasted vanilla and allspice. The palate is medium-bodied with fantastic tannin structure, and the fruits are joined by dark chocolate and mocha flavours. The wine has a persistent finish of rich fruits.

This is a wine of great intensity. It has distinctive blackcurrant and cassis fruit flavours. Subtle oak characters of cedar cigar box and spice are also evident. The tannins are fine and elegant - a hallmark of the varietal. The palate is well balanced, complex and fulfilling and lingers on the finish.

This wine is medium to full-bodied with lush red berry, plum and cherry fruit characters. The fruit flavours are balanced by undertones of creamy mocha, spice & subtle savoury characters. The palate has a soft, velvety texture with grainy tannins through the mid-palate and a long, persistence to finish.

The wine has a wonderful aroma displaying dark plum, redcurrant and red cherry fruits along with subtle chocolate and a touch of oak derived spice. The palate is plump & generous with ripe fruit characters of plum, cherry and redcurrant. Mocha coffee and subtle aniseed characters are also present along with vanillan oak to balance the fruit flavours. The wine is medium-bodied with a soft mid-palate & pleasing tannin structure. It is a well balanced wine with great texture, good length and enjoyable fruit flavours on the finish.

A variety made famous in Spain, this is a medium-bodied wine with seductive flavours of maraschino cherry, plums and subtle spice along with well integrated savoury oak. There is a pleasing soft and silky texture to the mid palate and the wine has a long, persistent finish.

This is a rich full-bodied wine yet at the same time, remains in balanced across the palate with fine, elegant tannins – the hallmark of great Cabernet.
