Jacob's Creek Double Barrel Shiraz is matured first in traditional wine barrels before being finished in aged Scotch whisky barrels. The 2018 vintage reveals a complex bouquet of black olive, wild rocket, fig, rhubarb, cinnamon and savoury Mediterranean notes. The palate is rich and layered, with flavours of white plum, fresh fig, liquorice and toasted pumpkin seed supported by finely etched tannins and refreshing acidity. Plush yet refined, St Henri combines generosity with remarkable longevity, rewarding both immediate enjoyment and careful cellaring through to 2055.
