In 1844 Christopher Rawson Penfold planted vines on the slopes of Magill to produce fortified wines. For nearly 60 years Penfolds Club has been Australia's favourite choice of Tawny. Beginning life as Penfolds Five Star Club Tawny in the 1940's, this wine has grown into Australia's No, 1 fortified wine bottle, Penfolds Club continues to offer the same quality and value for money as always.

The Father Grand Tawny Port is a superb blend of tawny ingredients, matured in oak barrels for a guaranteed minimum average of 10 years. It has an exceptional balance of oak and fruit, lingering on the palate before a clean, tight finish.

With each vintage, varietal batches are selected for Grandfather. These batches are individually aged in seasoned old oak casks before being blended together at 14 years of age. This blend is then introduced into the 'Grandfather Solera'. This Solera consists of six stages that are designed to fully integrate all components offering consistency and freshness with a final minimum average blended age of 20 years. Deep amber/mahogany in colour with green-gold tinges, this is a blend of the finest old tawnies. The palate shows classical Penfolds fruitcake, liquorice and vanillin oak flavours with a sweet full and round mid-palate, and a finish that persists on and on.

The Cabernet Sauvignon grape varietal is widely planted across South Australia's premium wine regions, particularly in the Limestone Coast where grapes with tremendous structure and beautiful aromatics are found. Well-regarded since its launch in 2002, the Koonunga Hill Cabernet Sauvignon showcases the merits of multi-regional blending to Penfolds 'House Style'. A bold, full bodied wine displaying lovely aromatics, excellent structure, and great length.

Since its inception, Penfolds Koonunga Hill has always aimed to deliver quality, value and consistency. The original 1976 Koonunga Hill Claret is a legendary wine that is still drinking well today. Koonunga Hill Shiraz joined the range in 2002, a contemporary reflection of Penfolds multi-regional sourcing philosophy. Shiraz from the warmer districts of South Australia is carefully blended, with the Barossa Valley always well represented. Ripe plum, blueberry & sweet spice - undeniably South Australian Shiraz. Penfolds Max's Shiraz Cabernet is a tribute to former Chief Winemaker Max Schubert 1948-1975, a legend in Penfolds history. A time honoured and alternative expression of Shiraz. Matured in large old vats that impart minimal oak character. Rich and plush when young, gaining soft, earthy, mocha characters as it ages. Drink now to 2055.

Pepperjack is a tribute to the Barossa's rich heritage. Traditional wine making techniques combined with an eye to modern styles led to this range of wine. The Pepperjack wines are rich, honest and vibrant in style - showcasing the Barossa's outstanding qualities. Includes Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon.

The aroma is full of juicy plum, dark cherry and mocha with a bright wild thyme note framing the nose, continuing with luscious cassis character on the palate. The savoury cocoa and resinous spices from the oak and whole bunch fermentation help draw the red and blue fruits across palate, melding to a complex and concentrated finish.

Aromas of ripe red currants, blackberries with hints of sage, mint and toasty oak. The palate shows subtle red fruits while having some grainy long tannins. Dual appellation - Langhorne Creek and McLaren Vale.
