Stoneleigh Sauvignon Blanc displays fresh and varietally true aromas of passionfruit and cut grass. On the palate, vibrant citrus fights to burst through before a succulent and crisp finish. The medium-bodied palate is brimming with more joyously juicy orchard fruits, and as the wine opens up, hints of spice, dried figs and citrus peel emerge. This is a wine of elegant simplicity, that over-delivers on primary, immediate fruit freshness, perfectly balanced ripeness and acidity.

Pale, straw colour. Delicate nose combining fresh fruit fragrances with the mellow aromas and hints of oak of a traditional white port. Fresh, lively palate, with good flavour and crisp, dry finish.

This is a wine of great intensity. It has distinctive blackcurrant and cassis fruit flavours. Subtle oak characters of cedar cigar box and spice are also evident. The tannins are fine and elegant - a hallmark of the varietal. The palate is well balanced, complex and fulfilling and lingers on the finish.

The palate has a soft, velvety texture with grainy tannins through the mid-palate and a long, persistence to finish.
