The Helmsman white is aged for over a year which leads to a light blonde colour and sweet flavour. Same as a dark rum, white rum is made from sugarcane juice or molasses, and usually has a shorter distillation period. It is said that a ship carrying one of the largest quantities of black spiced rum ever to be brought over from the Caribbean Islands, for unexplained reasons, never reached its destination. Stories were plentiful, and while an attack by the Kraken is suspected, no stories were ever confirmed. The Kraken Rum is an imported blend of Caribbean rums, blended with a range of spices including cinnamon, clove, and ginger.
